Meals on Wheels:

Meals On Wheels is a service of the Council On Aging (COA) an independent, not-for-profit organization providing services, information and support to Volusia County seniors for over 45 years.

Our three St. Brendan Catholic Church ministry teams are a part of the Adopt-A-Route program offered by COA that delivers meals to home bound seniors on three of the seven routes throughout Ormond Beach. We deliver a hot nourishing meal along with a brief visit which many times is the only contact these seniors may have with someone that day. Though meals are delivered out of the Ormond Beach Senior Center dining site every week day, being a part of the Adopt-A-Route programs means each member of one of St. Brendans volunteer teams is committed to making these meal deliveries to seniors only one to one and a half hours each month.
