Family Promise allows a family to remain together while they work to escape homelessness.
The goal of Family Promise of Greater Brandon Inc. is to partner with homeless families to help them regain their independence and find permanent housing. We strive to empower families to keep their housing after the program, not merely to help them in the short-term.
The relationship between Family Promise and a guest family does not end then. Family Promise staff and volunteers stay in contact with families, often through mentoring and other programs. Guests occasionally return as volunteers, helping create a true community of hospitality.
Hello, I am hoping to get some help or direction. A good friend of mine is homeless, he has a full time job and 15yr old son. He has been living out of motels for some time. His issue is when trying to rent is no one will give him a chance for an eviction in 2001. If anyone know of who can assist him and his boy. Hardworking and a great person. Just breaks my heart that they don't have a place to call home.
I need help with housing
Good Morning. I am new to this area (Lithia), and would like to volunteer to help the homeless. Not sure what I have to offer, but I'd like to have that conversation with a Family Promise manager.
