I would like to talk to the one that would be ahead of the Director at this shelter. I heard some thoughts of a few girls the other day. I believe this needs to be addressed because these ladies are Native American. It sounds like there might be some bad feelings to the ones that have different skin color? I would like to talk to this Barb lady and let her know how I feel about it, but decided against it because I don't want to cause more problems for the individual that expressed her feelings today. Is this a safe and healthy environment to address the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the residents, while also teaching the women to make healthier life-style choices? And I guess this also leads me to ask if the way the Director; Barb yells around at these girls helps... women overcome issues such as drug/alcohol abuse, suicidal tendencies, physical and sexual abuse, co-dependency, shame, depression and other life controlling issues? I believe there are some issues here that need to seriously be addressed.
