Located next to the Broward Outreach Center (BOC).
The mission of St. Laurence Chapel Homeless Shelter is to reflect Gods love for people who are hungry and homeless by providing help and hope in a non-judgmental environment.
Day time drop in client Services are provided Monday Friday 7:30 to 3:30. Every Sunday there is a voluntary chapel service and hot lunch from 12:00 to 2 pm, each week provided by local Episcopal churches. From Monday to Thursday evenings, up to 30 other homeless individuals come to spend the night. These people are referred by the County after going through an interview process. This group will be rotated into transitional housing and remedial programs. They receive a dinner and breakfast. (See blog for more information on this new program.)
Breakfast, lunch,showers, clothing, mailing address, telephone to make and receive calls, hygiene kits, emergency food, bus passes, chapel services (attendance is voluntary).

    I was getting help at the pompano beach location { 1698 blount Rd. } with my mail but the location is no longer helping us with this service . I need help to renew my w72 and w80 insurance but don't have a up to date letter saying that i receive help from St Lawrence .
