StandUp For Kids - Atlanta has been serving homeless and at-risk youth since 2003. We provide two programs which address the challenges facing homeless kids on the streets and in the schools through prevention, volunteer-based outreach and mentoring, and community-supported programming to help our youth on their journey to leading a healthy, happy and self-sufficient life.

Services Provided:

Street Outreach:
Street Outreach Volunteers connect with homeless and at-risk youth (24 years old and younger) on the streets of Atlanta. They provide resources, toiletries, snack packs, and harm reduction counseling to address the risks associated with street life. We need more feet on the street! Monday or Wednesday evenings (6:30-8:30pm). A weekly dinner is also hosted by volunteers every Wednesday evenings. Age requirement: 21
School-based Mentoring:
Caring adult mentors are matched with a homeless or at-risk high school student mentee and meet for lunch two times a month at their students school site (select Fulton County Schools). Consistent relationships gives our kids the support and encouragement needed to stay in school and graduate. Age requirement: 23
