The Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) provides comprehensive, effective housing and service programs for homeless and low-income people, particularly those suffering from serious mental illness, HIV/AIDS, and other disabling conditions. CUCS also works to improve public policy affecting the homeless and dispossessed.
CUCS currently sponsors seven supportive housing facilities, two transitional living communities, an outreach program and drop-in center, a job training and employment program, and a training, consultation, and housing information services department.
