The Healing Place of Texarkana provides free resources throughout our community. As a member of The Association of Gospel Rescue, we aim to help our community by providing them with the necessary tools needed for rebuilding their lives. We are looking for volunteers to commit to 2 - 4 hours a week to run some of our classes and activities.
Training would be provided.
Volunteers could commit to a weekly time slot or monthly time slot, and could do more than one if wanted.

Examples of classes and activities would be guided meditation, children's story time, support groups, open hours for helping people fill out paperwork (job applications, DSS paperwork, WIC, etc.), craft classes, writing classes, and a variety of other opportunities. Training and support would be provided.
