Yakima Neighborhood Health Services,YNHS @ The Depot, has a special focus on the homeless population of Yakima County.

An interdisciplinary team of professionals provide medical and dental care, counseling, case management, assistance with basic needs and hygiene items, respite care, WIC, immunizations, permanent and supportive housing and more to homeless individuals and families.

Access specialists and other staff at Yakima Neighborhood Health Services are specially trained to help clients learn about and apply for health coverage and assistance programs that are available through Washington State and federally.

Services:

Assistance with safe shelter, transportation, household items, housing, and hygiene items, sometimes rental or utility assistance and many other services that are needed.

YNHS manages several housing units and works with many landlords in Yakima County to provide housing for individuals and families.

Behavioral Health Services, YNHS behavioral health specialist offer assistance and counseling to homeless clients.

Homeless individuals have special challenges when they are trying to recuperate after an illness or an injury. The YNHS Respite Program offers a short term place where they can stay and get well.

Clients are screened for eligibility.

    Is their any rental assistance or emergency housing availability for pregnant homeless women?

    I'm really worried because I got laid off from my job and I only make $160 dollars per week on unemployment I won't have enough money to pay my rent plus I have a $200 dollar car payment each month too. My rent is $750 per month.
